In 1933, Hunt retranscribed the song lyrics twice, providing new interlinear English and identifying it as having belonged to a woman named T’łaḵwa’ił of the Ma’a̱mtagila ’na̱’mima of the Gwitala (APS.A.W3 1933:5480, 5580; see Ann. X.X [for pg. 563]). This is likely the wife of Hinak’alasu’, chief of the Gixsa̱m ’na̱’mima of the ’Walas Kwaguł (CUL 14, 1928:4361; APS.A.W19, 1:128-130, 2:215-220; see Ann. X.X, X.X, and X.X [for song 356.18, Pl. 20. and Fig. 141 or 143]). Based on Hunt’s 1933 versions of her wolf dancer song, Boas made a final retranscription of the lyrics between 1933 and 1943 (APS.A.W8, 5:43). [Cylinder no longer extant]
